Straight after I left CX, I did a teaching course to further develop my teaching skills. I’ve been teaching in several schools since and enjoying my new career. If you like to teach, here are some details:

English for Asia has been training English Teachers in Hong Kong since 1997, and would like to offer people hit by the current job losses the chance to re-train and consider careers in teaching. They are willing to offer generous discounts and payment plans to make sure this is an easy transition.

This was my first professional teaching course after CX. It was very hard and stressful for many of us (my classmates) as it’s a compact course. I’ve not studied for years! We had sleepless nights, tons of homework and presentations for the duration of the course. However it was only about 5 weeks ( minus 3 weeks pre-course work). Pain is only temporary, Quiting is forever! Like any proper courses, there is no such thing as plain sailing!
I did it for the love of TEACHING!
