Kings Park is one of the largest inner city parks in the world and the most popular visitor destination in Western Australia. The park is larger than New York’s Central Park. At around 1.30 pm, we arrived at Perth city. The weather for that day was burning hot, nearly 40C.
Bumped into this shopping street that look so European style…However, the things they sell are not so European style, but more “made in China” things. So, we were not so interested.
It was until 5 something that we dare to come out from the hotel room. The weather was much better by then. Husband drove us to a nearby Kings Park and Botanic Garden for a walk.

The Eternal Frame and State Memorial. Kings Park is located on the western edge of the central business district in Perth. The Park is a mixture of grassed parkland, botanical gardens and natural bushland.

Standing up here, one can overlook the panoramic view of the Swan River and Darling Range.
Perth central business district.We did not explore Perth city much on that as the temperature is way too hot. We are interested in our next destination tomorrow where we could see some wildlife.
